Even Aaron Rodgers can see the writing on the wall. Rodgers admitted today that he probably won’t finish his career with the Green Bay Packers. Eventually Jordan Love will take over for Rodgers and that brings us to the question everyone wants to know. If Rodgers is going to leave Green Bay at some point. Which teams are a possible landing spot for the former MVP? We know Rodgers is a West Coast guy and he’s been a long way from home for a long time. So one possible landing spot would be the Las Vegas Raiders. Sooner or later Jon Gruden needs to make good on his $100M contract. We know the Raiders patience is wearing thin with Derek Carr. Mike Mayock and Gruden could start getting a little desperate and dump Carr for Rodgers to restore the silver and black. Another potential landing spot is one that the fans are going to hate. The New England Patriots will be in the market for a quarterback and Rodgers could pick up where Tom Brady left off. This one would make sense because Rodgers will need a job and New England needs to get better. Then there’s the other long shots like Jacksonville, and maybe Dallas. But it feels like Las Vegas and New England will be near the top of the list. Rodgers would probably prefer to be out West. But sometimes you have to go where the opportunity is. And that means a team like the Patriots will be in play.
