To say Aaron Rodger is special would be a complete understatement. After Rodgers was sacked 4 times early on by the Cowboys defense the veteran quarterback hung around and eventually threw a game winning touchdown to Davante Adams with only one minute left in the contest. While itā€™s easy to chalk it up as more Rodgers magic, thereā€™s one thing that stands out when you watch the Packers QB operate. Thatā€™s the fact that no matter how much adversity Rodgers faces he always seems to keep a cool demeanor about him. Obviously that poise helps the 33 year old quarterback stay focused on the task at hand and this is the second time in less than a year that Rodgers shattered the Cowboys dreams. Outside of Rodgers, Alex Jones was pretty impressive for Green Bayā€™s offense. Jones finished the day with 125 yards and 1 rushing touchdown in just his second start ever. Davante Adams also had a big afternoon catching the football, Adams hauled in 2 touchdown receptions and looked great after leaving last weekā€™s game on a stretcher. Adams fully recovered from that medical setback in less than a week and thereā€™s no doubt this guy will be a big part of the offense as the season progresses on. Dak Prescott played pretty well in this match up throwing for 251 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Ezekiel Elliott put together a solid performance too rushing for 116 yards when it was all said and done. Cole Beasley was Dallasā€™ most notable receiver he caught two touchdowns for the Cowboys offense in a losing effort. On the defensive side of the ball Blake Martinez led the way for the Packers with a team high 12 tackles. Morgan Burnett had a decent outing recording 6 tackles for the Pack as well. Out of all the Cowboys defenders David Irving was the most dominant with 5 tackles and 2 sacks. Demarcus Lawrence also continued his excellent season with 3 tackles and another sack. Rodgers was the star of the show when the final whistle blew though, it was another 3 touchdown game for the 13th year quarterback. Rodgers has a passer rating of 100.7 on the season and hitting his stride at the perfect time for Green Bay. This team will be extremely tough to beat if Aaron Rodgers continues to play at such a high level.
