Week one didn’t go very well for the Chicago Bears. After losing a tough match-up against the Green Bay Packers 10-3 the team now has to regroup and comeback stronger. If there’s any positive takeaway from what happened Thursday night it’s definitely Allen Robinson.
The former Jacksonville Jaguar is in his second season with Chicago and last year he was a little bit sluggish after battling back from a torn ACL in 2017. Sometimes those injuries can take an athlete a couple of years before they get back to where they were but Robinson started to show positive signs in the 2018 NFC Wildcard against the Philadelphia Eagles. In that game Robinson was the only offensive player who stepped up and he finished the night with 143 yards and 1 touchdown. It was the same ol song and dance against the Packers and Robinson had 102 receiving yards in that NFC North clash. So you have a receiver who has been absolutely incredible in his last two outings and we could see him finish near the top of the rankings for receiving yards. He’s off to a great start and Mitchell Trubisky doesn’t have anyone else to throw to. Matt Nagy has to run his offense through Allen Robinson and even then it might not be enough. This team needs a massive overhaul on the offensive side of the ball.

Allen Robinson is healthy and that’s great news for the Chicago Bears.
