At 43 years old most athletes are well past their prime. It’s harder for an aging player to keep up with speed of the game when they’re starting to lose a step. Yet Tom Brady continues to beat the odds and be an exceptional quarterback. Brady threw for five touchdowns in the Buccaneers latest win over the Los Angeles Chargers. We know Brady is dedicated to a fitness routine and he really takes it serious with his trainer Alex Guerrero. But Brady has also done an excellent job of connecting with his new teammates. We all figured he’d be on the same page with Mike Evans. Because that’s easy to do with how talented Evans is. Where Brady deserves some real credit is for bringing Scotty Miller along. Those two have done remarkable work when it comes to making people respect this offense deep down the field. It’s just one more receiver beyond Chris Godwin and Evans that Brady can rely on. So it’s another case of Brady creating opportunities by willing to put himself out there and collaborate with different people. That’s helping him adjust to life in Tampa Bay.
