The Bucs found a way to sneak by the Cardinals on Christmas night. It wasn’t the most impressive win by any means. But the Bucs pulled it off by kicking a game winning field goal in overtime. If there was a bright spot for Tampa Bay. It was definitely their quick passing game. Tom Brady did a good job of getting the ball out to Chris Godwin on some spot passes. I thought Leonard Fournette also ran hard. Those were two players the Bucs should be optimistic about. Still the question remains. Can this team hold on to their one game lead in the NFC South? The Panthers just steamrolled the Lions. So they had a more convincing win than the Bucs did. Which means the Bucs and Panthers are on a collision course. It’s all going to come down to whether or not Todd Bowles can stop the Panthers running game?
