Cam Akers is out to make a name for himself:

Author: Jon Kuzma

If there was anybody that stepped up during Wild Card weekend it was Cam Akers. The Seahawks defense had been red hot heading in to the playoffs. But Akers slashed away at Seattle for 131 yards and 1 touchdown. He was ultimately the reason Los Angeles was able to win that game. And you could tell it was the start of something good for Akers. He found a way to contribute as a rookie with 625 yards and 2 touchdowns. That was despite the fact that Akers shared touches with Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson. But to be the lead back in a playoff win is a huge step for the rookie. It’s a good indication of what’s to come from Akers. Don’t be surprised if he does it again in these playoffs.
