Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz is the front-runner to win the Most Value Player award but believe or not Jared Goff will end up being the better QB. Wentz is benefiting greatly from having such a talented cast around him which includes the new additions of Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, and Jay Ajayi. Where as Goff has taken a team that was nonexistent offensively a year ago and turned them into a 6-2 ball club. When you’re breaking down the tape of both players it becomes obvious that Goff has more tools when it comes to throwing the football. Not only can the Rams quarterback deliver strikes with perfect touch, he is also a little bit better at sliding around in the pocket and trusting his offensive line. Wentz on the other hand is clearly a better athlete than Goff but that actually hurts him at times because he does choose to roll out more often. The best quarterbacks in this league play like Tom Brady does and out of both 2016 draft class players it’s Goff who more resembles the New England signal caller. Remember in order to have success at the pro level your arm has to be golden and so far Goff has shown to have better accuracy and more strength. The stats don’t reflect that but the Rams don’t have quite as much talent on their roster as Philadelphia does, so Goff has worse receivers who aren’t as potent as the Eagles have. Still both quarterbacks have a 60% completion percentage and in time expect Jared Goff to end up becoming one of the best quarterbacks the league has ever seen. Los Angeles struggled a season ago because their offensive execution was terrible. That won’t happen now that Goff is finding his comfort zone and LA will be tough as long as this guy is in the starting line up.
