Last week the Los Angeles Chargers took on the Kansas City Chiefs. But right before kickoff Tyrod Taylor was scratched from Los Angeles’ lineup because of a chest injury. So rookie quarterback Justin Herbert stepped in for Taylor. And Herbert took the defending Super Bowl champions all the way down to the wire. In fact Kansas City had to go to overtime to just barely pull out a win over the Chargers. That game should’ve won Herbert this team’s starting quarterback job moving forward. But Anthony Lynn has already named Taylor as his team’s number one QB. Which is a terrible decision after what we’ve seen from Hebert. He deserved better from the Chargers. The best option has to play. This also isn’t a good reflection of Lynn at all. It shows that there’s politics involved when it comes to his decision making.
