Defending Super Bowl champions- The most obvious reason why Kansas City will beat Houston in week one. Is the fact that the Chiefs are the defending champs. They’re team speed is incredible and the Texans defense can’t keep up.

Too many playmakers- Travis Kelce is the best tight end in football (sorry George Kittle it’s true). Tyreek Hill would be the best receiver if he were on the Texans. And even though Deshaun Watson is cut from a different cloth. Patrick Mahomes is still better.

Young talent that will step up- Whether it’s second year receiver MeCole Hardman or rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The Chiefs placed bets on the right prospects. Sooner or later those players will turn into big contributors for their team.

Andy Reid- When you compare Andy Reid to Bill O’Brien. It’s clear that Reid wins this coaching battle in a landslide. Bill O’Brien has proven that he’s a winner. But Reid is one of the truly great coaches in the National Football League.

Chris Jones- J.J Watt has dominated throughout his career. But right now all eyes are on Chris Jones. Patrick Mahomes took less money to keep Jones around. There’s a reason why. Jones ensures that Kansas City are the Super Bowl favorites.
