We’re halfway through the regular season and the Cincinnati Bengals are improving. They already have as many wins as they did last year. And that’s what happens when you land a franchise quarterback. Joe Burrow came to Cincinnati with a lot of hype swirling around him. He won a national championship at LSU and went on to become the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft. But despite all of Burrow’s stats and all of the success that he’s had. It might be his toughness that stands out the most. Burrow has been sacked 30 times in 8 games. And some of those hits were bone crunching. The fact that Burrow keeps getting back up. And the fact that he’s gone back into games after being nearly knocked out. That has shown a toughness beyond belief. It’s gotten to the point where Burrow has not only earned the respect of his teammates. Burrow has also earned the entire world’s respect. This has been gritty. His resilience has been unshakable. And most people would’ve folded if they were in that same situation. Because of that the Bengals know they’re in good hands.
