Andy Dalton can’t feel very good about the way things ended with the Cincinnati Bengals. After going to the playoffs for five straight years. Dalton was tossed to the curb when the Bengals decided to draft Joe Burrow. That led Dalton to the Dallas Cowboys where he was supposed to be Dak Prescott’s backup. But Prescott went down with an ankle injury and that means the Cowboys are Dalton’s team at least for the remainder of the season. Things started off well for Dalton too. He rallied the Cowboys to a come from behind win over the New York Giants. That small sample size of Dalton’s game gave us an indication of what he’s still capable of. We also can’t forget that this is a homecoming for Dalton. He made a name for himself at Texas Christian University and grew up in Katy, Texas. So getting back down South is something that Dalton has probably been looking forward too. Being the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys is also something that every kid in Texas has dreamed of. That’s a reality for Dalton for the time being. Now he has to show us what he can do.
