We’ve been waiting to see how Matthew Stafford will change the Rams. And we got a glimpse of that in their win over the Bears. Stafford didn’t waste any time. He came out and threw a bomb to Van Jefferson to start the game. What stood out about that play. Is how much Stafford’s teammates were loving it. There’s an excitement building around this team. Because everyone has a Super Bowl on their mind. When Stafford picked apart the Bears. Those expectations started to come to life. And the belief that this team can do something special is becoming contagious. The Bears were a playoff team a year ago. So this was a quality win in week one. That’s all you can ask for from Stafford. He checked that box off the list. And he did it in style. To be in command like he was against a defense led by Khalil Mack. There’s no doubt Stafford made a statement.
