The Steelers hit it big yesterday. When they signed free agent Melvin Ingram. Aside from Geno Atkins. Ingram was the best free agent on the market. So it’s a nice pick up right before training camp. If Ingram is rejuvenated too. Then this signing will be a game changer for Pittsburgh. You have to remember. Ingram spent his entire career with the Chargers. Which means this is the first time. He’s played for a different team. We know the Steelers have a great culture. Ingram might be able to feed off of that. It’ll also be exciting to see how much better he’ll be in this system? Because the Steelers can use their scheme to create opportunities for a player. Bud Dupree had a lot of free rushes. Due to the fact that Pittsburgh is good at slanting their line. Ingram had to get off blocks when he played in Los Angeles. If he starts getting a free path to the QB. Ingram will thrive. He’s never had good coaching. That will make his job easier. Ingram just got by with his raw talent with the Chargers.
