It’s easy for people to take shots at Eli Manning. His demeanor is somewhat sluggish and sometimes it appears that Manning is overwhelmed in press conferences. However the New York Giants fan base has to remember everything he’s done for their organization.
Two Super Bowl titles and for fifteen years Manning has gave big blue a reliable quarterback under center. So now that the veteran signal caller’s time is winding down everyone should be grateful that they got to witness such a great run. The Giants won 124 games since number 10 took over the reins and only Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Ben Roethlisberger have more when it comes to the current QBs in the NFL. New York has been so incredibly successful during that time span and it’s only right that we send Manning off the right way. Maybe he’ll get another one year contract or it’s possible that another team signs him. Although the odds of that happening are low and you have to pay respect to one of the legends of the game. The naysayers and Twitter mob want you to think otherwise but don’t fall for it. Even if you aren’t a Giants fan you have to appreciate the contributions that Eli Manning gave to the league. Sundays were always special because of those moments.
