Were the Giants the better team last night?

Author: Jon Kuzma

Last night was a heartbreaker for the Giants. They probably should’ve beat Washington. And there’s three main reasons why. The first was the holding call on Daniel Jones’ touchdown. That was an overzealous referee. That wanted to make his presence felt. Maybe the fans in Washington got to him. But it was a bad call and that would’ve been enough to win the Giants the game. The second reason the Giants should’ve got the job done. Was the Darius Slayton drop in the end zone. That was another touchdown that slipped threw Slayton’s fingers. So that’s 14 points total New York missed out on. Which would’ve led to a much more convincing win. Then the last mistake was Dexter Lawrence jumping offsides. If the Giants cleaned all of those things up. It’s clear they’re more talented than the past. They just have to figure it out soon. Because they have to dig themselves out of a hole.
