DeVonta Smith went down with a knee injury at Eagles training camp. Which will keep him out of action for three weeks. The official diagnosis is a sprained MCL. But it doesn’t feel like this will be too bad for Smith. Because he didn’t do any major damage. And we all know how well he runs. He showed us that last year at Alabama. Smith’s speed is the best part of his game. And he’s proving that once again with the Eagles. Smith has caught three touchdown passes in practice. Not to mention he is also helping Jalen Hurts take the next step. So we know how important those two are for this team. They’re rebuilding the Eagles from the ground up. You can also expect to see Smith on the field for week one. When Philly takes on the Falcons. That means there isn’t too much to worry about. This is just a minor setback for Smith.
