The Khalil Mack experiment didn’t work out in Chicago. And it’s not Mack’s fault because he dominated during his time in the Windy City. However the Bears weren’t able to capitalize on their window and they should probably sell high on Mack to set themselves up with a brighter future. If there’s one place it would be awesome to see Mack wind up. It would be in Denver alongside of Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, and Jurrell Casey. There has been no indication that a deal like this would happen. But the thought of Miller and Mack dominating the AFC West would be exciting. Think about how much better the Broncos would be and they’d have the pass rushers to rattle Patrick Mahomes. You can’t block both of those guys and eventually someone will get to the quarterback. With Miller’s quickness and Mack’s power that’s the best of both worlds. Both guys’ production would spike as well because someone would always have a one-on-one matchup. And if John Elway was able to pull off a trade for Mack it would send a message to his players. They’d appreciate the front office’s aggressiveness. Suddenly the expectations would be much higher. And you know what they say. Defense wins championships and Mack would make Denver even more dangerous. A spark has ignited in the Mile High City. Now turn it into a wildfire.
