There’s been a lot of speculation that the Steelers could trade JuJu Smith-Schuster.
However that doesn’t seem likely because Pittsburgh wouldn’t be very competitive at the receiver position. But what if it’s actually Smith-Schuster that wants to move on from Pittsburgh? We know he was born in Long Beach, California and then he attended the University of Southern California for college. So it’s clear that Smith-Schuster likes to be close to home. And maybe that’s why the Steelers drafted Chase Claypool. Was the writing on the wall that Smith-Schuster didn’t want to re-sign with Pittsburgh? And don’t be surprised if Smith-Schuster ends up on Los Angeles’ roster next year. They need another receiver after losing Sammy Watkins and Brandin Cooks the last couple of years. So the Rams would make sense.
