The Chicago Bears have a glaring weakness at the quarterback position. Mitchell Trubisky hasn’t been good enough and it’s holding this team back. It’s gotten to the point where Chicago is wasting their time with Trubisky and that means they need to go in a different direction. With rumors coming out of Tampa Bay that the Buccaneers don’t plan on keeping Jameis Winston. The Bears have a real opportunity to get better under center.
They just have to open their checkbook and find a way to lure Winston to the Windy City. The good news is Winston is coming off a 5,000 yard season and those are numbers Trubisky could never achieve. From an arm talent standpoint this addition would improve Chicago so much. Winston will help the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th receivers get involved. When Trubisky was on the field the only guy having any success was Allen Robinson. So by incorporating everyone into the offense it will make the team much more dangerous. Winston is at a point in his career where he’s worth that gamble. The Bears just have to cross their fingers and hope he doesn’t get in any trouble off the field.
