Wow it’s amazing how far you can come if you put in the work. When Josh Allen entered the NFL back in 2018 he was a raw talent. Sure his arm strength was off of the charts. But he actually threw more interceptions than touchdowns as a rookie. So Allen’s game had to be polished. And now in his third season he’s been the top player after two weeks. Allen leads the NFL with 729 passing yards. He’s thrown 6 touchdowns and no interceptions. Most importantly the Buffalo Bills are undefeated (2–0) and this team is clearly the favorites to win the AFC East. You just can’t ask for a better two games from Josh Allen. Against the Miami Dolphins he was poised. We saw him break tackles like a young Ben Roethlisberger. You also can’t overlook how much better he’s been at throwing the ball deep. This isn’t the same player we’ve seen in the past who struggles with accuracy issues. Allen is finding a way to put it altogether and that’s the story that’s happening on the field. It’s called progression. And if he keeps this up Allen will definitely be in the hunt for MVP.
