Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver Julio Jones has struggled a little bit this season only recording 1 touchdown reception but Jones is starting to come alive. The seventh year wide receiver out of Alabama is on pace to record his 4th straight 1,000 yard season and thatā€™s huge considering how hard it is to have success in the National Football League. Not only do you have to be able to outmatch the best defenders in the world. Players also have to stay healthy as well and we all know how physical the sport of football can be. Jones is a human highlight reel for the Falcons and he brings it every single time he steps on the field. A lot of his success is due to the fact that Jones is simply more physically gifted than a lot of the people he lines up against. At 6 foot 3 inches 230 pounds and with a 4.39 40 yard dash Julio Jones is just too big and too fast to be kept in check. Thereā€™s a reason Atlanta gave up 5 draft picks to acquire Jones and itā€™s because they knew he was a once in a generation talent. Thereā€™s simply things the veteran receiver can do that other players in the league arenā€™t capable of. The Falcons are 4-4 on the year after going to the Super Bowl last season. One way this team can get back in the hunt is by looking for Jones in the red zone. 1 touchdown over nine games is simply not enough for a player as talented as Julio Jones, so it will be up to Steve Sarkisian to be creative and get his top player involved. No stone should be left unturned when it comes to Atlantaā€™s offensive play calling and once you get Jones involved everything else will fall in line after that.
