Do the Bears have to stick with Justin Fields if they want to turn things around?

Author: Jon Kuzma

The best course of action for the Bears is obvious. You trade the first overall pick for a king’s ransom. Then you build a real team around Justin Fields. Because he had so many flashes of brilliance with such a bad supporting cast around him. If the Bears bring in Bryce Young and they don’t fix anything else on offense. They’re wasting their time. So Ryan Poles should avoid trading Fields because he didn’t draft him. That’s a quick way to get fired. The only way the Bears can survive is if they keep Fields. That way they can get the draft capital from trading the first overall pick. Because then they can surround Fields with playmakers.
