Most NFL insiders knew that Leonard Fournette’s time in Jacksonville was coming to an end. But it felt like Fournette would at least stick around through the 2020 season. We know now that won’t be the case because the Jaguars decided to release Fournette. To make matters even worse. Doug Marrone said that Jacksonville “couldn’t get anything for Fournette” when they put him on the trade block. That almost seems like an attempt to devalue Fournette as he heads towards free agency. Therefore you can feel the bad blood between the two sides. And to be honest it’s been brewing for a long time. The team had it out for Fournette ever since they voided his guaranteed money after he got in a fight during a game. You knew it was all downhill from there.
