The Mitchell Trubisky era is over. The Bears don’t plan on bringing Trubisky back. And that’s not too surprising after Chicago’s offense was nonexistent in the playoffs. So that means Bears GM Ryan Pace will be in the market for a quarterback. One guy that fits the bill is Mac Jones. By trading up for Jones in the second round. Chicago can avoid overpaying for one of the first round QBs. Pace will be enticed by Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, and Trey Lance. But it would cost too much to move up and get one of them. Plus Jones has proven that he can lead a team. His arm strength is already better than Mitchell Trubisky’s. If you want to be an NFL passer. One of the most important things is being able to stretch the field. The Bears have never really had that. Jay Cutler had a big arm. But he didn’t win a National Championship like Jones did. Pace can’t mess this up. Go get Mac Jones out of Alabama or watch him slip away to a team like the Patriots.
