Ben Roethlisberger didn’t have a good game against the Browns. Nobody can deny that. But the Steelers won’t go back to the playoffs if they turn the page on Roethlisberger. Quarterbacks that are capable of throwing for 500 yards don’t grow on trees. And we saw what this team was two years ago when Roethlisberger got hurt. Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges couldn’t get the job done. A rookie quarterback isn’t going to change much either. The fact is Roethlisberger led this team to an 11-0 record just a month and a half ago. So Pittsburgh should focus on building on the success they’ve had. Because if they take Roethlisberger out of the equation. They’re going to take a step backwards.
