Coming into this season it was do-or-die for Matt Nagy. The Chicago Bears were losing confidence in Nagy after he struggled in 2019. Then Kyle Long spoke out about some of his frustrations with the Bears coaching staff. But all of that is in the rear-view mirror because Nagy has led Chicago to a 4-1 record. Not only that, this team is coming off of a signature win against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Let’s be honest the defense is the reason the Bears are winning and Nagy is the offensive play caller. But this team has also looked disciplined. They also do well on special teams and the fact that everyone is on the same page. That‘s a reflection of Nagy’s ability to reel in his players. So clearly there’s still a lot of people that believe in the philosophy, mindset, and beliefs of Chicago’s leader. For Nagy that’s the ultimate validation because when you’re dealing with all of the pressure that he went through. The only cure for all of those problems is winning.
