Pete Carroll is a more important piece than Russell Wilson:

Author: Jon Kuzma

The Seahawks fiasco has fans picking sides between Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson. That’s because Wilson is trying to force his way out of Seattle. So naturally there’s a debate about who’s really to blame for the two sides having a fallout. But let’s not forget that Pete Carroll has won 2 national championships and a Super Bowl. His track record speaks for itself. Whereas Wilson was carried to a Super Bowl by the Legion of Boom and Marshawn Lynch. Wilson even cost the Seahawks the next Super Bowl they went to. So you can’t sit here and say he’s a more important piece than Carroll. Because that couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality is Carroll made Wilson who he is today. His system literally produced Wilson. So there’s no doubt Carroll is capable of finding another great quarterback. If he only had success at one stop that might not be the case. But Carroll has won three major championships. So we have to take those accomplishments at face value.
