Are the Las Vegas Raiders for real? They’ve improved the past couple of years under Jon Gruden. And their latest win over the Kansas City Chiefs is even more evidence of what they’re becoming. While there’s no doubt the AFC West still runs through Kansas City because they have a better record. You still have to wonder if this is could be the turning point for the Raiders? Can they take the next step and snatch the crown from the Kansas City Chiefs in this division? Well with Jon Gruden’s crisp execution. And with Dererk Carr playing better than ever (347 yards and 3 touchdowns against Chiefs). It’s clear that the Raiders are ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos. They’re the only team in this division that can challenge the Chiefs. So you kind of wonder what is the reason that Las Vegas is closing the gap on the defending Super Bowl champions? It’s clear it’s Gruden’s command of this team and the fact that guys like Henry Ruggs and Josh Jacobs are stepping up when their number is called.
