Instead Sherman helped the 49ers get to a Super Bowl. And they were very close to beating the Chiefs in that game. So there’s no doubt that San Francisco got their money’s worth for Sherman. It’s possible some other team will have similar luck if they sign the veteran defender. If you get Sherman around a group of talented players. He’ll fit right in and find his role. His hunger is something that will have a positive impact on his teammates. Sherman can still set the tone when it comes to a team’s mindset or identity. Those are things that have been successful everywhere he’s been.
