Why a Ryan Tannehill for Nick Foles trade would be ideal for the Dolphins. Even if Miami has to give up a mid-round draft pick to get the deal done:

The Miami Dolphins are going into the 2018 season with Ryan Tannehill as their starting quarterback. Tannehill is coming off an ACL tear and that is definitely a concern for the Dolphins organization. With that in mind Miami would be smart to try to work a deal to get better under center. The top candidate for this team is clearly back up Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles. Foles is much more polished than Tannehill is and that’s evident in the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl MVP awards. Would you rather have Foles who won the Eagles a Vince Lombardi Trophy last season or Tannehill who is coming back from major knee surgery? When you lay those two options on the table it’s apparent that Miami’s front office should try to work a deal for Nick Foles. Ryan Tannehill and a 3rd round pick should be enough to make that acquisition happen. Obviously that’s a steep price to pay in order to bring in the veteran signal caller (Foles) but at the same time it’s the best choice for their football team. With Danny Amendola, Kenny Stills, Albert Wilson, and DeVante Parker there’s a real possibility Foles could light it up in South Florida. Adam Gase would also be a great coach to oversee all of that offensive execution so you can see how things would improve with this addition. Now to be fair Tannehill he had some amazing throws particularly when it came to the deep ball. Yet it feels like Nick Foles has a knack for winning and that would suit Miami very well after a rough season. Not only that but bringing in Foles would be good for team morale because it shows the higher ups in the Dolphis organizations are committed to winning. Sometimes the players need that motivation to stay upbeat in the locker room.
