The Seattle Seahawks continued their impressive 2017 preseason by topping the Kansas City Chiefs 26-13. The Chiefs are a very good football and actually won a playoff game last season. So to see the Seahawks come in and handle the Chiefs so convincingly is a very impressive victory. Seattle improves to 3-0 for the preseason and to be honest from a roster stand point they look like they have a lot of great players. One player who was exceptional in the Seahawks win was Defensive End Frank Clark. While Clark only finished the contest with 1 tackle if you plug in the film and watch the game itā€™s clear Clark was punishing offensive lineman. Frank Clark constantly got pressure on Alex Smith and itā€™s intensity like that which will cause quarterbacks to crack mentally during the regular season. Clark is coming off a 10 sack season a year ago, so the 3rd year pass rusher has a ton of upside and should be terror on the football field for the Seahawks defense. If Michael Bennett, Kam Chancellor, Bobby Wagner, Earl Thomas, and Richard Sherman can also play their best football. Thereā€™s a good chance the Seahawks could go back to the Super Bowl this season and itā€™s all because this team built up through the draft. Nobody knew if Seattle was going to rebound after losing most of their offensive line and Marshawn Lynch. Itā€™s clear Pete Carroll and the front office knew what they were doing and thatā€™s why Seattle has been able to limit the fallout. Seattle was supposed to be a team that was trending downward but because of great football decisions this team should have a chance to do something special. Kansas City doesnā€™t look as complete as Seattle does and right now if you had ask which team will go further? Itā€™s easy to believe the Seahawks will, they have an outstanding defense and an emerging offense.
