Last year the Pittsburgh Steelers we’re flipping back and forth between Mason Rudolph and Devin Hodges as their quarterback. But now Ben Roethlisberger is back and he led the Steelers to a 26-16 win over New York Giants. In fact Roethlisberger threw for 3 touchdowns in that game. And that has to be exciting for Pittsburgh because Roethlisberger is still shaking off the rust. You could tell that he’s getting used to his surgically reconstructed elbow. So he should improve throughout the season. And once Roethlisberger gets back to the player he once was, the Steelers will be in good shape. That’s clear because the Giants defense played tough for most of this match-up. However Roethlisberger couldn’t be contained for all four quarters. His two touchdown passes to JuJu Smith-Shuster gave Pittsburgh enough points to get the job done. And if he’s doing this in his first game back. Just wait until Roethlisberger gets back up to speed.
