With Super Bowl LI in the books itā€™s time get ready for the 2018 season. This year all 32 NFL teams will make a push for the Vince Lombardi Trophy and that award will be given in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Thatā€™s right the Twin Cities will get ready to host Super Bowl LII and that event will be held Sunday February 4th at U.S Bank Stadium. While itā€™s too early to predict which teams will make it to the Super Bowl you have to expect the New England Patriots are the favorites to get there and win Super Bowl 2018. New England is the defending champs and they actually have a more talented roster now than they did when they won the Super Bowl a couple of months ago. That makes New England a very dangerous football team and it will be interesting to see if they can put all the pieces together and repeat as champions. In the NFC you have to like what the Falcons did signing Donatari Poe. That should significantly upgrade Atlantaā€™s defensive line but itā€™s very unlikely both the Patriots and Falcons make it back. The Patriots are more likely to get there than the Falcons which means you have to explore the other options in the NFC. Obviously the strongest teams in the NFC are coming out of the NFC East. Every team in that division has a chance to make a push at Super Bowl 2018 and you have to like the direction the Cowboys are trending in. After drafting Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott Dallas has infused a solid young nucleus into their teamā€™s DNA. The Cowboys will depend on those 2 players to repeat their success especially since Dallas lost a number of talented cornerbacks. That means the Cowboys offense will have to raise the bar and Elliott and Prescott will be tasked with that goal. If Jaylon Smith can return from his knee injury and provide an impact that would also be a huge boost for the Cowboys. So you can see Super Bowl 2018 is going to be another great chapter of NFL football and it will be interesting to see who will get crowned Super Bowl champs next season?
