The Dallas Cowboys are coming off back-to-back losses and now they’re on the verge of unraveling in the NFC East. Philadelphia is right on their heels and there’s no room for any letdowns. Luckily for the Cowboys they play the New York Jets this weekend which should be an easier match-up. However the Jets did get Sam Darnold back and that could create some challenges.
Especially when you take in to consideration how bad Dallas was on both sides of the ball against the Saints and Packers. This is a crossroads moment for this franchise and it’s sink or swim from here on out. Jason Witten came out of retirement because he believed this ball club was close to winning a Super Bowl. So far that assessment has been way off and right now the Cowboys only seem to beat mediocre opponents. There’s also some tough games coming up so we’re going to find out exactly what this team is made of? With New England, Los Angeles (Rams), and two showdowns against Philadelphia all on the schedule. It’s obvious there’s zero margin for error. Even if Dallas does go to the playoffs the last thing they want to do is have to go on the road and try to make something happen. Proving how much is on the line for America’s Team and they need to stack some wins and get their confidence back.
