The Houston Texans rolled the dice when they traded for Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills. This front office had to give up multiple first round picks in order to complete that trade but Houston is a much better team because of it. Their offense is ranked first in the NFL with 3,570 yards and Deshaun Watson has all of the help around him that he needs.
And because of that this team is more dangerous than ever and they’re going to be very tough to stop once the playoffs arrive. Keep in mind all of this success came after Lamar Miller was lost for the year with an ACL injury. That’s a good football player that the Texans had to replace but they‘re still the standard of the sport on the offensive side of the ball. Part of that is because they’re doing a much better job in pass protection. This team gave up 65 sacks in 2018 which was the most in the league. Right now they’ve surrendered 25 through nine games but it’s obvious that it’s no where near as bad as it was a year ago. So Watson is getting more time to scan the field and he also has more playmakers out wide. It kind of hurt DeAndre Hopkins’ production because the ball is being spread around. But this team is much closer to winning a Super Bowl and clearly that means more to Hopkins. Allowing Will Fuller, Kenny Stills, and Darren Fells to get involved is a small sacrifice to make if this franchise can bring home a Vince Lombardi Trophy. Are they at that level yet? Who knows but nobody else can carve up a defense like they can. Which is a great advantage to have with the season quickly winding down.

The Houston Texans offense is the best in the NFL and it’s because of the additions of Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills.
