The Las Vegas Raiders have to get better on defense. That was their achilles heel last season and it has to change. Their most glaring weakness is at the cornerback position and C.J Henderson can help them out. The former Florida Gator should be able to come in and make an impact right away. Henderson will be everything that Gareon Conley was supposed to be for the Raiders. And when Henderson did get his hands on the ball in college he usually took it the other way for a defensive touchdown. Those are the type of plays that will provide a spark for this Raiders defense. Henderson also ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at the combine and when you have to play Tyreek Hill twice a year that’s exactly what you need. Las Vegas shouldn’t stop there though. For their other first round pick they should select Kenneth Murray out of Oklahoma. If you’ve watched any of the Sooners games the past couple of years it was easy to spot Murray. He’s a heat seeking missile on the defensive side of the ball. Murray’s instincts guide him and his athleticism allows him to dominate. Those two guys can unlock this team’s true potential and it should be enough to get the Raiders into the playoffs. Jon Gruden can get a lot out of the players on his roster. With more talent than the previous two seasons the silver and black will rise again.
