Hopefully it doesn’t happen. A world without football would be absolutely dreadful. But there’s a growing concern that the college football season won’t happen. And that makes you wonder if the NFL will be able to follow through with their schedule?
We know that Roger Goodell is going forward with the draft. However that event won’t be in Las Vegas like it was originally planned. Instead it’ll probably be in a television studio and there won’t be nearly as many people who participate in that whole process. Which is red flag number one. If the NBA, NHL, and MLB put everything on hold. And if the draft can’t take place under normal circumstances. It’s very realistic that the pandemic could cause even more problems down the road. Hopefully things start to shape up quickly but the reality is we have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Nobody wants to be where we’re at right now but tough decisions had to be made. And if anyone’s life is put in jeopardy then the league will be forced to cancel some games and perhaps all 16. Sports used to get us through tough times like we’re going through right now. But unfortunately this time around the coronavirus might shut everything down.
