Christian McCaffrey- At the end of 2018 McCaffrey was a very good player with a ton of potential. But somehow McCaffrey was able to exceed every single expectation that Carolina set out for him. The result was one of the most prolific years we’ve ever seen from a running back. One where he had 2,392 all-purpose yards. Unbelievable.
Cooper Kupp-You never know how a player will perform after tearing their ACL the prior season? However much like Adrian Petson was able to do in 2012. Kupp had his best season ever after that knee injury and he was incredibly explosive. He’s clearly the number one receiver in Los Angeles.
Chris Godwin- Chris Godwin might be the most improved player on this entire list. Godwin made huge strides and somehow surpassed Mike Evans as the number one receiver in Tampa Bay’s offense. We’ll see if Godwin can maintain that role because it was definitely impressive to watch.
Dak Prescott- The Cowboys underachieved but Dak Prescott was able to find individual success. He threw for a career high in both passing yards (4,902) and touchdowns (30). Which makes Prescott far more valuable than he was one-year ago.
Shaquil Barrett- From an unknown player to the NFL’s top pass rusher. Shaquil Barrett’s 19.5 sacks ensures that he’ll make a lot more money next year. The Bucs can’t afford to let Barrett go but there will be plenty of other teams that are hoping to pry him away.
