Taco Bell Is Selling Its First-Ever Gelato

The sweet and crunchy Cinnamon Twists and icing-injected Cinnabon Delights are some of Taco Bell's most unusual fast-food desserts. 

Starting Aug. 31, Taco Bell is trying a new Mtn Dew Baja Blast Gelato. Unfortunately, the new dessert is only available at Taco Bell's Irvine location at 4101 Campus Drive.

However, non-Californian customers may still try the gelato. Taco Bell and other fast-food restaurants test new menu items at certain locations

The teal Baja Blast from Taco Bell has tropical, citrusy, and fruity flavors. These legendary tastes are in the new gelato.

"This is our first gelato release and we are excited to hear how fans enjoy the sweet and creamy indulgence," Taco Bell global chief culinary 

innovation officer Liz Matthews said. Taco Bell's Baja Blast has a loyal following, so making it gelato felt fitting.

The Irvine restaurant sells New Gelato 3.6-ounce to-go pots for $2.99 plus tax. Those near the California store should visit soon

to get a cup of the limited-edition treat, which will only be available for two weeks or while supplies last.

Taco Bell tested their first Vegan Crunchwrap with plant-based seasoned beef, vegan blanco sauce, vegan nacho sauce, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes.
