When we’re talking about the most improved player in football. Aaron Jones’ name has to be in the conversation. The 24 year old running back showed a lot of promise during the 2018 season but he’s been even better this year. Jones has racked up 14 total touchdowns and it’s amazing how much production one athlete can give their team. The funny thing is Jones is only 208 pounds but he plays fearless every Sunday. Most of his runs are right up the gut and then we usually see him break a tackle or two.
He’s also got outstanding balance and those abilities make this offense very dangerous. Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have to do it all because Jamal Williams and Jones have added some grit to this team’s ground game. Plus you have to acknowledge how good Jones has been as a receiver as well. He lined up out wide against the Kansas City Chiefs and beat Anthony Hitchens for a touchdown. And then there’s the things he can do when leaking out of the backfield. Right now it’s obvious Aaron Jones is the Packers x-factor and this has been an All-Pro year for him. But you know Green Bay’s only focus is winning a Super Bowl and if their rising star plays up to his potential is definitely possible.
