They call it the legal tampering period. But let’s be honest this is free agency and the Bears came into it with $75M in cap space to spend. So now that they’ve signed Tremaine Edmunds and TJ Edwards. You get the feeling the Bears are just getting warmed up. They’ll sign some other players here shortly. Until then Bears fans should celebrate these first two guys. Edmunds will anchor the defense. He’s going to make it harder to run against this team. Which will be huge for the Bears. You also can’t overlook the Edwards signing either. He did a great job on the Eagles Super Bowl run. Edwards is known for having great pursuit. He’s an active linebacker that has a motor that is always on. To sum it up. The Bears got a couple of nice pieces today. They’re a better football team because of it.
