Player and staff safety should be the only concern for the Tennessee Titans right now. Sure they’re undefeated with a 3-0 record. But the only thing that matters is being responsible after the Titans had a COVID-19 outbreak within their organization. Three players tested positive along with five staff members. Obviously those eight individuals’ health have to be the top priority. But Tennessee also has to avoid transmitting the virus to any other people. That’s imperative because if this situation can’t be contained then it’s possible the NFL will have to step in and cancel some games. It should be noted that the Minnesota Vikings are also quarantining after playing Tennessee on Sunday. So each team’s response to these positive tests/potential exposures are critical for the league. We all knew at some point it could come to this.
