The Raiders are leaning hard into the Patriot Way. Josh McDaniels is their head coach. They just signed Jimmy Garoppolo and Jakobi Meyers. It’s basically the Patriots 2.0. Now in the past this usually doesn’t work. Because the original is always better than the clone. But that doesn’t mean it can’t work with the Raiders. They’re going to play to their strengths. Which is their execution. That’s why you go get a bunch of players that are familiar with your system. It’s about cutting down on the learning curve. The idea is Garoppolo already knows the playbook. So he can be a field general out there. By getting everyone lined up in the right spots. We also can’t forget one of the biggest keys to success. That often gets overlooked. The teams that communicate better tend to win more often. So by leaning into the Patriot Way. All of those boxes get checked off.
